Who We Are As A Company
Our Story
We are Jonas Yoder and John Alan Hershberger and crew. John Alan and I grew up best friends and worked for the same construction company as teenagers. when I was twenty and John was nineteen we decided that we wanted to start our own roofing company. In 2000, we quit our jobs with no work lined up. We purchased a truck and enough tools for us two to get started-then we just hit the road and looked for work. Doing mostly new construction residential roofing at the start, in time we transferred to mostly doing residential reroofs. Now we have twelve employees, three crews, and we average about two roofs a day from April through November! For the last ten years, we have been focusing on specializing in residential roof replacements, seamless spouting, and downspouts (asphalt shingled roofing only). J&J Roofing LLC has never changed ownership to this day and has had 22 great years and we give all the glory to God because nothing is possible without him. Up till right now, we have never done any advertising and have grown the company strictly through word of mouth. We are especially proud of that since it is nearly impossible to compete with companies with an online presence while not having one of our own. However, we not only survived, we thrived! And as you can see, we have decided to enter the online world and prepare for further company growth!

Our Plans
We have now grown the company to the point where we have a strong enough base and the right people in place that we are ready to take the next step in expanding the company. Starting with our own website which is complete if you are reading this! We will then thrust into advertising campaigns and social media presence building. Our demand from clients is not slowing down at all! We can confidently say that business is great! We plan to keep our standards of high quality! We will not sacrifice the quality of our trade and our name for company growth! In other news, we now have two of John Alan’s boys working in the field this summer and my oldest boy will be joining us soon as well.
